BankPlus Amphitheater<\/strong> in Southaven, Mississippi<\/strong> announced this morning that popular heavy rock bands Five Finger Death Punch<\/strong> and Breaking Benjamin<\/strong> will play a double bill show on Monday, August 6<\/strong>. <\/span><\/p>\n

Specials guests include the up and coming bands Nothing More<\/strong> and Bad Wolves<\/strong>.\"\"<\/span><\/p>\n

Since their emergence in 2007, Five Finger Death Punch has achieved six consecutive RIAA gold-certified albums, three of which have gone platinum since, as well as a platinum single culminating in their 2015 No. 1 album \u201cGot Your Six,\u201d while at the same time being one of the top rock streaming acts with over 2 billion global streams to date.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In 2016, the band also received the prestigious \u201cSoldier Appreciation Award\u201d from The \u2018Association of The United States Army.\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n

Their 2017 Greatest Hits album,\u00a0A Decade Of Destruction<\/em>, boasts two new singles, amongst them \u201cGone Away,\u201d a cover of the 1997 song by The Offspring<\/strong>. Their forthcoming seventh album anticipated to be released in spring 2018 will undoubtedly raise the bar again.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mainstream rock mainstays\u00a0Breaking Benjamin\u00a0are readying their sixth studio album, and that means a fresh batch of live dates for this spring.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ember<\/em>\u00a0is out April 13 on Hollywood Records, and they\u2019ve just announced a slew of shows, starting a little over a week later.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“People have always really liked the heavier side of the band. I think that’s what they sort of gravitate towards. But we also make sure to explore our melodic and softer side too,” founder\/frontman Ben Burnley says.<\/span><\/p>\n

“We just tried to make it more extreme\u2014the softer side on this album is really soft, and the heavy side is really heavy. We decided to give everybody what they want to the furthest degree.”<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Nothing More are having banner year, with their\u00a0The Stories We Tell Ourselves<\/em>\u00a0album being Grammy nominated this past year. The disc spawned the Grammy-nominated single “Go to War” and they’re currently hitting with the single “Do You Really Want It?”<\/span><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Bad Wolves are just starting to make their mark, but have generated quite a bit of buzz as one of 2018 potential breakout bands. Their cover of The Cranberries<\/strong>‘ “Zombie” has been well received and a new album is expected this spring. Stay tuned for details on the tour when it is announced.<\/span><\/p>\n
