The inaugural Oxford Day for Art Awards<\/strong> were held last night at 8 pm at The Powerhouse<\/strong>. The awards acted as both a fundraiser for the Yoknapatawpha Arts Council<\/strong> and to celebrate the community that keeps Oxford full of culture. There was art exhibited in the main room and stage performances from Theatre Oxford<\/strong> as well as Hinge Dance Company<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This year featured eight awards withs winner consisting of familiar and not-so-familiar names. Check out the full list below and make sure to be there for next year’s Oxford for Art.<\/span><\/p>\n

For Contributions in Visual Arts:

For Contributions in Promotion of LOU as an Arts Community:
