It was revealed that the shooting occurred within the city limits of Oxford.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">An investigation ensued and determined that<strong> Jadarius Harmon<\/strong>\u00a022 years old from <strong>Taylor<\/strong>, Mississippi, had shot Marshall in the back.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Marshall was flown from BMH-NM to <strong>The Med<\/strong> in <strong>Memphis<\/strong>, Tennessee via <strong>Hosptial Wings<\/strong>. She died shortly later from her injuries.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Harmon will be formally charged later today. An update to his charges and bond will be released afterwards.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u201cThis is a terrible tragedy. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of Laquisha Marshall,\u201d said <strong>Chief Joey East<\/strong>. \u201cThis incident is still under investigation and information will limited.\u201d\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.thelocalvoice.net\/oxford\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/TheLocalVoiceLigature-25web.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"25\" height=\"16\" class=\"size-full wp-image-14544 alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.thelocalvoice.net\/oxford\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/TheLocalVoiceLigature-25web.jpg?resize=25%2C16\" alt=\"The Local Voice Ligature\" \/><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Update:\u00a0Jadarius Harmon has been formally charged with\u00a0<u>Manslaughter \u2013 Culpable Negligence<\/u>\u00a0(MS CODE 97-3-47).
