After teasing his friends on his personal Instagram page, End of All Music<\/strong> owner David Swider<\/strong> formally announced on Sunday, December 24 that his record store is moving to the Oxford, Mississippi<\/strong> Square.<\/span><\/p>\n

The new vinyl record store will be located upstairs in the old Duvall’s building on the northeast corner, between FNB Bank<\/strong> and University Sporting Goods<\/strong>.\u00a0\"\"<\/span><\/p>\n

Oxford has not had a record store on the Square for the past twelve years. The last store, Hot Dog Records<\/strong>, went out of business in May of 2006. <\/span><\/p>\n

End of All Music opened up in 2012 in a metal building on North Lamar Boulevard,<\/a> near the Three-Way intersection.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“This little metal building has been a dream come true and a lot of fun,” noted Swider. “We\u2019ve made so many friends and sold so many great records, and we know our new spot will be even better, with more great records and lots of new friends.”<\/span><\/p>\n

The new store will\u00a0formally open on January 18, 2017, and it will be open until 9 pm Wednesday through Saturday. Being open at night is something Swider noted he “always wanted to say.”<\/span><\/p>\n

The grand opening of the new store will take place on Friday, January 19 and will feature live music by Cody Rogers<\/strong> at 5:30 pm.\u00a0The store is releasing an an exclusive cassette version of Rogers’ new solo album,\u00a0My Heart is the Most Lonesome Rodeo<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The current location of End of All Music is having a closing sale from January 15 through 17. Swider promises plenty of\u00a0$1 LPs and 45s, plus they will be selling equipment, CDs, store fixtures, and posters.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Come buy a lot of stuff so we don\u2019t have to move it all!” said Swider. “We\u2019ll also allow some haggling on the last day of the sale, so come ready to make some deals.”\u00a0\"The<\/span><\/p>\n
