Upon arrival officers found that <strong>Eddie B. Booker<\/strong> (37) of Oxford, had strangled a family member while at the residence. Officers were advised that Booker left the residence prior to the officer\u2019s arrival. Booker was located a short time later and was transported to<strong> Lafayette County Detention Center<\/strong>.
