Otherfest<\/strong>, since 2006, has held the stage for over 100 indie-label and unsigned bands from around the U.S. ranging in genres from blues to bluegrass, from hip-hop to rock, and every sub-genre in between. The 12th annual Otherfest, sponsored by Keep Cleveland Boring<\/strong> and Budweiser<\/strong>, keeps rocking with 18 music acts over two days for only $25. In addition to live original music for an unheard of low low price, the festival boasts two days of free camping, food trucks, and art and beverage vending in an all ages music festival on October 6th and 7th, just north of Cleveland<\/strong> on Highway 61<\/strong>. <\/span><\/div>\n

This years line up includes headliners, Adam Faucett<\/strong> and The Tall Grass<\/strong>, an alt-country three piece from Little Rock<\/strong>, Arkansas<\/strong> whose albums have been included in top ten bests in Europe<\/strong>. Another notable act is El Obo<\/strong>, whose front man includes Jesse Coppenbarger<\/strong>, the lead singer of the former Colour Revolt<\/strong>. And The Echo<\/strong>, a two piece synth-pop-rock band from Oxford <\/strong>that shouldn\u2019t go without mention. Many other acts from Mississippi that if you haven\u2019t heard of you definitely should include Young Valley<\/strong>, an outlaw country rock group from the capital city of our great state; Andrew Bryant<\/strong>, cofounder of the Fat Possum<\/strong> signed Water Liars<\/strong>; A Scarlet Empire<\/strong>, whose live performance has been considered barometric pressure altering. All told, 18 bands will grace the stage at Otherfest.<\/span><\/p>\n

Food vending for Otherfest will include Levee Break Grill<\/strong>, winner of Cleveland\u2019s Best Burger in 2017<\/strong>. Beverage vending will be sponsored by Mitchell Distributing<\/strong>, New Belgium Brewing Company<\/strong>, and Mighty Mississippi Brewing Company<\/strong>. Small coolers are permitted inside the festival grounds. Gates open at 5pm on Friday, and admission for the festival will be $25 at the gate. Car-pooling as well as camping are strongly encouraged for the festival. <\/span><\/p>\n

An Adopt-A-Band campaign has been set up to give regional businesses and private donors sponsorship\u00a0 opportunities for the festival, all of which are tax deductible through Keep Cleveland Boring\u2019s 501(c)(3) status.<\/span><\/p>\n
