While Mt Zion<\/strong> in Brookhaven<\/strong> took first place in Best Things Mississippi<\/strong>‘s list of best bike trails<\/a>, Oxford made the list twice.<\/span><\/p>\n

Clear Creek<\/strong>, roughly 30 minutes outside of Oxford near Sardis Lake,\u00a0is ranked second. Also voted best Bike Trail in Mississippi by Mountain Bike Magazine, this is clearly a popular spot. The trail features a 3 mile beginner loop and a longer 8 mile beginner to intermediate loop.<\/span><\/p>\n

Coming in at seventh are Fruit Loop and Rail Bed, part of the network of trails that can be accessed south of Highway 6 on Chucky Mullins where the Whirlpool plant use to be.
