{"id":39461,"date":"2017-05-05T10:52:56","date_gmt":"2017-05-05T16:52:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.thelocalvoice.net\/oxford\/?p=39461"},"modified":"2017-05-08T11:10:32","modified_gmt":"2017-05-08T17:10:32","slug":"arrest-made-on-frontage-road-in-oxford-for-no-taillights-no-drivers-license-drug-paraphernalia-felon-with-a-22-rifle","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thelocalvoice.net\/oxford\/arrest-made-on-frontage-road-in-oxford-for-no-taillights-no-drivers-license-drug-paraphernalia-felon-with-a-22-rifle\/","title":{"rendered":"Arrest Made on Frontage Road in Oxford for No Taillights, No Driver&#8217;s License, Drug Paraphernalia, Felon with a .22 Rifle"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">On May 3, 2017, \u00a0the <strong>Oxford Police Department<\/strong> noticed a red Ford Ranger pickup with no taillights driving at night on Frontage Road. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">During the stop it was determined that <strong>Cedric Johnson<\/strong>, 43 of <strong>Meridian<\/strong>, did not have a valid driver\u2019s license and subsequent to the arrest he gave verbal consent to search his vehicle. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Officers located a .22 caliber rifle inside the vehicle along with drug paraphernalia. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">It was determined that Mr. Johnson was a convicted felon and subsequently placed under arrest for no driver\u2019s license, no taillights, and felon in possession of a weapon.
