The Oxford-Lafayette County Chamber of Commerce<\/strong> and Cannon Motors of Mississippi<\/strong> will be hosting its Third Annual Red Carpet Gala<\/strong> on Thursday, May 18, 2017, from 7 to 11 p.m. at Castle Hill Resort<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Creating excitement for this year\u2019s event are three raffles. For the third year in a row Lammons Fine Jewelry<\/strong> will be donating diamonds, this year a 2 Carat Diamond Bracelet.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our second raffle donated by the family of Karen Preston-Morf<\/strong> is a signed football by legendary Ole Miss Coach Johnny Vaught<\/strong>, the only coach in Ole Miss history to win an SEC Championship. \u201cThe Chamber has helped me with my real estate business over the years,\u201d said\u00a0 Preston-Morf. \u201cBy donating the Johnny Vaught football would be a great benefit to the Chambers.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Finally the third raffle donated by The Range at TGC Outdoors<\/strong> consists of a custom AR- 15 rifle designed exclusively in honor of Archie Manning<\/strong>.\u00a0 Making this rifle even more valuable is Archie Manning\u2019s signature on the shaft of the gun. \u201cWhen we built ‘The Archie’ I knew I wanted to do something special with it,\u201d said Joshua Gregory<\/strong>, owner of TGC Outdoors. \u201cBeing that Archie Manning is such a big supporter of Oxford himself I wanted the rifle to somehow give back to the town.\u00a0The Chamber and Economic Development Foundation felt like the perfect fit for the donation.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Raffle tickets for each raffle are $20 per ticket, 3 for $50, or 10 for $100. Packages of tickets must all go towards the same individual raffle item. <\/span><\/p>\n

The winner of each raffle will be drawn on May 18th at the Red Carpet Gala. You do not have to be present to win. All proceeds go to the Chamber to help promote and provide additional resources to the citizens and businesses of the community.<\/span><\/p>\n

You won\u2019t want to miss this anticipated black tie event as tickets are on sale for $75 \u201ctwo for price of one,\u201d now through March 15. The public is welcomed to attend.<\/span><\/p>\n

Memphis band, Dr. Zarr’s Amazing Funk Monster<\/strong> will be the entertainment for the evening. There’s no way you\u2019ll be able to resist the dance floor. In addition, the fabulous Chef Shuffle<\/strong>, offering delicious tastings will feature Oxford-Lafayette County restaurants and chefs.<\/span><\/p>\n
