The 8th<\/sup> Annual Oxford Pub Crawl <\/a><\/strong>is set for Saturday, March 18. The festivities kick off at Frank and Marlee\u2019s<\/strong> at 3pm and wind through a total of seven bars on the Square and ends at The Coop at The Graduate<\/strong>. For the first year ever, the pub crawl has a sponsor and fittingly enough it is Jameson Irish Whiskey<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI saw that there was an opportunity for Jameson to sponsor the pub crawl and have a chance to connect with the people that participate,\u201d said Amanda Gaz<\/strong>, North Mississippi Brand Representative.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gaz contacted organizer Joe Dickey<\/strong> through the 8th<\/sup> Annual Oxford Pub Crawl Facebook page and made the offer.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI was thrilled to be contacted by Jameson,\u201d said Dickey. \u201cThey have really taken the ball and ran with it. I know their support is going to make this year\u2019s Pub Crawl even better.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The sponsorship includes advertising, giveaway prizes, T-shirts, and more. Throughout the crawl Jameson Representatives will be on-site as well as Jameson Shot-Girls<\/strong> to, \u201cmake sure everyone gets a sample,\u201d said Gaz.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Pub Crawl also offers the chance to try out two new flavors: Jameson Black Barrel<\/strong> and Jameson Caskmates<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

With all the additions, Dickey is excited for a bigger turnout for the Oxford Pub Crawl than ever before.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI think we will have a great crowd this year,\u201d said Dickey. \u201cThey are growing every year and I don’t see any reason for that to change.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

This year\u2019s Pub Crawl includes Frank & Marlee\u2019s, Proud Larrys\u2019<\/strong>, Round Table<\/strong>, Funky\u2019s<\/strong>, Blind Pig<\/strong>, Local\u2019s<\/strong>, and The Coop at The Graduate.\u00a0\"The<\/a><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
