Co-owner <strong>Lee Bowie<\/strong> has confirmed that the coffee shop, restaurant, and venue will be closing down.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">&#8220;We are in the process of closing, but still have a few shows this week,&#8221; said Bowie.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">As a venue, Shelter was one of the few in town available to artists not yet established, as well as touring acts that were not able to book at Proud Larrys&#8217;. This will be a blow to the already few options for musicians in town.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The last day of operation will be Saturday.
