\"\"Mustache has recently grown longer and thicker and has been taking Oxford by storm every time they play a show. Made up of five randy rascals, these charmers the party every time: Alan Johnson<\/strong> (guitar, vox), Clint Sack<\/strong> (keys, guitar, vox), Joe Stiffie<\/strong> (steel & guitar), David Balls<\/strong> (drums), and Silly Ray Cyrus<\/strong> (bass)<\/span><\/p>\n

Is it true that you stole Dickey Do\u2019s dad\u2019s do?<\/strong> I have had this hair-do since 1990.\u00a0I got it honest. Cause buddy if I didn\u2019t earn it, I don\u2019t want it.<\/span><\/p>\n

What\u2019s the best place you\u2019ve found a mustache on a girl?<\/strong> One little country girl raised her arms up during a show and she had an unbelievable amount of underarm \u2018stache.\u00a0 But she sure looked good in her denim and pearls. Rocked my world.<\/span><\/p>\n

What do you do that Dickey don\u2019t?<\/strong> We\u2019re shameless.\u00a0 Shameless as a band can be.<\/span><\/p>\n

Best place to make out? On a tractor or in the bed of a truck?<\/strong> Definitely a truck. It\u2019s got an eight foot bed that never has to be made. You know if it weren\u2019t for trucks we wouldn\u2019t have tailgates?<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"I hear that the drummer, David Balls, is the only mustache member without a mustache. Does he have a hidden stache?<\/strong>\u00a0David has had trouble growing a mustache since he was 16. He has an \u00abinner stache\u00bb that he expresses through his sideburn chops. The chops really hold the band together.\u00a0Just like Ronnie’s power goatee drives Brooks and Dunn. Friends of ours.<\/span><\/p>\n

What does a girl have to do to get backstage for the mustache after party? Get down on the farm or have friends in low places?<\/strong> It\u2019s pretty simple. Mustache has two rules. Don\u2019t forget to shut the gate and stay outta the beans.<\/span><\/p>\n

Who\u2019s more likely to shoot out the lights on a small town Saturday night? Dickey or Mustache?<\/strong> Now the Don\u2019ts do like to party but I think we are more likely to shoot out the lights. We both like slammin em\u2019 back and laughing out loud. We\u2019re just looking for a party crowd. They are more likely to howl at the moon though. We can\u2019t stay out as late as we use to.\u00a0 I still remember when 30 was old.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

How does it feel to be in third place?<\/strong> It\u2019s an honor really. We realize that it\u2019s hard to maintain excellence decade after decade. We have been rocking some of these hits since 1990. That\u2019s a long time to be on top. Some girls don\u2019t like bands like us but some girls do.<\/span><\/p>\n

I mustache you a question. Nevermind. I\u2019ll shave it for later. Stay outta the beans.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Why stay out of the beans?<\/strong> That\u2019s one of the rules that you need to know\u2026..that, and don\u2019t mess with the bull, he\u2019ll get real mean.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"Dickey Do & The Don\u2019ts<\/strong> is a band made up of true superstars. Austin Marshall<\/strong> (drums, vox) works on Music Row in Nashville with Dallas Davidson<\/strong>, 2012 ACM Songwriter of the Year, who has written 13 #1 Country Music songs. Jamison Hollister<\/strong> has been featured on both American Idol and The Voice as the pedal steel and fiddle player.\u00a0 The rest of the guys play for many local Oxford band that include Rocket 88<\/strong>, Jimbo Mathus<\/strong>, Gunboat<\/strong>, and more.<\/span><\/p>\n

The question remains, will Rocket Natey Nate<\/strong> (bass, vox) wear his assless chaps? If you don\u2019t go, you\u2019ll never know!<\/span><\/p>\n

Who is the 3rd best country band in North Mississippi and do you have any plans to take them down?<\/strong> We heard some horseshit that the Mustache Band may be the 3rd. \u00a0We plan to take them down at Texas weekend by playing George Strait: 50 #1\u2019s\u00a0in its entirety.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"I want to come to your show at Larrys\u2019 on Friday, September 14th, but I don\u2019t know what to wear. Help?<\/strong> Cowboy Hat, Western Boots, Daisy Dukes…need I say more?<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"Now that y\u2019all\u2019s drummer, Austin Marshall, is a Nashville bigshot, does he ever get too big for his britches and act like a diva?<\/strong> He is usually down to earth, although sometimes resembling the Snickers commercials. He\u2019s a great drummer and good with the girls.<\/span><\/p>\n

Do y\u2019all have any plans to play Texas-themed music for the Longhorns who\u2019ll be visiting us this weekend? Is it true that everything\u2019s bigger in Texas?<\/strong> We are gonna pull out all the stops and put on a stellar show that will please the Texas fans and Ole Miss fans alike. Best advice I can give to anyone is get out your hats and boots, get in party mode, and do not miss this show. Bigger in Texas? You ain\u2019t seen nothing yet. <\/span><\/p>\n

What\u2019s the wildest thing you\u2019ve seen at one of your shows?<\/strong> Well, there was that one time when Sammy Kershaw made out with the prom queen backstage before the show, but I can\u2019t reveal any details.
