Oxford\u2019s own <strong>The End Of All Music<\/strong> is again planning to pull out all the stops for the record aficionados of north Mississippi.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u201cRecord Store Day is more of a celebration for the community around the record store, rather than the record store [itself],\u201d says owner <strong>David Swider<\/strong>. \u201cBecause without the customers, I wouldn\u2019t be here.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u201cSo rather than just sitting here and taking money all day, I like to throw a big party.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.thelocalvoice.net\/oxford\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/YoknapaTACOtruck.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-26377\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-26377 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.thelocalvoice.net\/oxford\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/YoknapaTACOtruck.jpg?resize=300%2C168\" alt=\"YoknapaTACOtruck\" width=\"300\" height=\"168\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.thelocalvoice.net\/oxford\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/YoknapaTACOtruck.jpg?resize=300%2C168&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.thelocalvoice.net\/oxford\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/YoknapaTACOtruck.jpg?w=600&amp;ssl=1 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>The End Of All Music will open at 10 am on Saturday, and will feature live music, food trucks, coffee, and all the other amenities that contribute to what has become arguably the record store\u2019s foremost annual event. <strong>High Point Coffee<\/strong>, the <strong>Yoknapataco<\/strong> truck, and <strong>Brad Hayden<\/strong>\u2019s <strong>BBQ\u00a0Smokeshop<\/strong> rig will all be on hand.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">And of course the special vinyl releases themselves will be a surefire draw.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u201cPeople usually come with some idea of what they want to get in mind, and we usually have a great turnout,\u201d says local writer and End Of All Music employee <strong>Bill Boyle<\/strong>. \u201cThe last couple of years there have been people waiting overnight, camping out.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">After the initial morning rush dies down, there will be plenty of reasons to hang around. <strong>Len Clark<\/strong> will be opening his art studio, located just two doors down, to the public and showing his new series of paintings for the event. Woodworker <strong>Ryan Peirce<\/strong> will also be selling custom-made record crates, which Swider describes as \u201cpretty amazing.\u201d The End Of All Music will also be hosting raffles for some top-notch swag, including speakers, headphones, signed records, and more.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Other official sponsors include <strong>Yalobusha Brewery<\/strong>, <strong>Fat Possum Records<\/strong>, and illustrator <strong>J. Burwell<\/strong>. The full list of Record Store Day releases (\u201cThe List\u201d) is available at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.recordstoreday.com\">www.recordstoreday.com<\/a>, though the store cannot guarantee exactly what they will have in stock due to high demand nationally.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u201cThere\u2019ll be a lot of good stuff to buy, but we\u2019re going to be giving away a lot of free stuff,\u201d Swider emphasizes. \u201cAnd I want to drink beers with everybody, too.
