{"id":32281,"date":"2016-03-17T13:00:55","date_gmt":"2016-03-17T19:00:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.thelocalvoice.net\/oxford\/?p=32281"},"modified":"2016-03-17T13:44:14","modified_gmt":"2016-03-17T19:44:14","slug":"listening-party-at-proud-larrys-for-new-oxford-supergroup","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thelocalvoice.net\/oxford\/listening-party-at-proud-larrys-for-new-oxford-supergroup\/","title":{"rendered":"Listening Party at Proud Larrys&#8217; for new Oxford Supergroup"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">As we mentioned last issue, there\u2019s a new all-instrumental super group in town, featuring guitarist <strong>George McConnell<\/strong>, drummer <strong>Ted Gainey<\/strong>, guitarist<strong> Eric Deaton<\/strong>, organist <strong>Robert Chaffe<\/strong>, and bassist <strong>Slade Lewis<\/strong>. <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The new-and-yet-unnamed super group has a Kickstarter <a href=\"http:\/\/ow.ly\/YRoLd\">campaign<\/a>\u00a0to help release the album, name the band, and there\u2019s a \u201cListening Party\u201d at <strong>Proud Larrys\u2019<\/strong> on Thursday, March 17 during Happy Hour. Attendees will have a chance to listen to the new LP and throw some possible band names into the hat.
