Runners will be treated to breakfast and <strong>Snopes Family Pilsner<\/strong> beer, provided by <strong>Big Bad Breakfast<\/strong> and <strong>Yalobusha Brewing Company<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Saturday evening, chefs will cook dinner parties in private homes in Oxford. The intimate dinners will seat 12 guests and feature menu items inspired by each chef\u2019s respective restaurant. Guests will be able to buy tickets for specific chef dinners.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The impressive roster of participating chefs includes:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Hugh Acheson<\/strong> of<strong> Five &amp; Ten, The National<\/strong> (Athens, Georgia), <strong>Empire State South <\/strong>(Atlanta, Georgia), and <strong>The Florence<\/strong> (Savannah, Georgia);<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Sean Brock<\/strong> of <strong>Husk<\/strong>,<strong> McCrady&#8217;s<\/strong>, and<strong> Minero<\/strong> (Charleston, South Carolina and Nashville, Tennessee);<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Floyd Cardoz<\/strong> of <strong>The Bombay Canteen<\/strong>, <strong>Paowalla\u00a0<\/strong>(NYC, New York);<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>John Fleer<\/strong> of <strong>Rhubarb<\/strong> (Asheville, North Carolina);<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>George Mendes<\/strong> of <strong>Aldea <\/strong>(NYC, New York);<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Alon Shaya<\/strong> of <strong>Shaya<\/strong> (New Orleans, Louisiana);<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Isaac Toups<\/strong> of <strong>Toups Meatery <\/strong>(New Orleans, Louisiana); \u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">and <strong>Tandy Wilson<\/strong> of <strong>City House <\/strong>(Nashville, Tennessee).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Visiting chefs will be paired with a host chef who will be providing support for the dinners. Local chefs <strong>Andy Ticer<\/strong>, <strong>Michael Hudman<\/strong>, and <strong>Kelly English<\/strong> have volunteered to work alongside <strong>City Grocery Restaurant Group<\/strong> chefs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Proceeds from the event will benefit <strong>Move On Up Mississippi<\/strong>, which provides grants to members of the Mississippi community that are doing significant work for a healthier future for the children of Mississippi.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">A ticketed concert after party at <strong>The Lyric<\/strong>, featuring <strong>St. Paul &amp; The Broken Bones<\/strong>, will follow the dinners.
