Ole Miss<\/strong>‘ Ford Center<\/strong> will host classical clarinetist Julian Bliss<\/strong>‘ touring program on February 4th at 7:30 pm.<\/p>\n

The young British clarinetist Bliss and his Septet are touring the US for the first time and they’re bringing a program called “A Tribute to Benny Goodman<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n

Julian is a classical clarinetist first, but he has always considered Goodman a musical hero. Together with pianist Neal Thornton<\/strong>, Julian worked out the arrangements of many of Goodman’s greatest hits and other well-known swing tunes for his 2012 album of the same title.\u00a0\"The<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
