<\/span>Local Color<\/strong>, located on <\/span>North Lamar Boulevard<\/strong>, has been open since 1973. The proprietor of the place, <\/span>William Wallace<\/strong>, has almost as much character as the merchandise (though he isn’t related to the iconic Scottish knight from the 1300s). Local Color is Oxford\u2019s oldest and favorite \u201chead shop,\u201d but there\u2019s way more than smoking accouterments to be found in its rooms.
