Ole Miss Rebels vs. Oklahoma State Cowboys\u00a0in the 2016 Sugar Bowl<\/h2>\n

Oxford, Miss. (TLV) – It’s official: Ole Miss<\/strong> is finally returning to the Sugar Bowl<\/strong> in New Orleans<\/strong>. The No. 16 ranked Rebels<\/strong> will face off against No. 13 Oklahoma State Cowboys<\/strong>\u00a0on January 1, 2016.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ole Miss has not played in the Sugar Bowl since 1970, when the No. 13 ranked Rebels defeated the No. 3\u00a0Arkansas Razorbacks<\/strong> in Tulane Stadium. The legendary Coach Johnny Vaught<\/strong>\u00a0took the Rebels to a victory on that New Year’s Day with Sugar Bowl MVP Archie Manning <\/strong>leading the way. <\/strong>The Rebels spoiled Arkansas’s 1969 season and the Razorbacks return trip to the Sugar Bowl.<\/span><\/p>\n

The 2016 Sugar Bowl will take place in the Superdome<\/strong> in New Orleans, Louisiana at 7:30 pm. Tickets can be purchased here<\/a>. \u00a0\"The<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n
