Hello,<\/span><\/p>\n

I wanted to let you know about the Oxford Film Festival online campaign as part of the Mississippi Day of Giving that ends at midnight on October 24. <\/span><\/p>\n

During only this campaign, you can give $50 and get a VIP pass to the festival, a perk that normally is reserved for $100 or more in donations. It is still a tax-deductible donation to our 501c3 but you also get to save some money while helping us out with our goal for the 2016 festival! <\/span><\/p>\n

You don’t have to wait until October 24 to give: https:\/\/www.givegab.com\/nonprofits\/oxford-film-festival-c484b570-003b-49b0-83e3-a06685ed6b3a\/campaigns\/day-of-giving-special-campaign<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

Mississippi Day of Giving is a day is a powerful opportunity to unite Mississippians around causes in which they truly believe and help nonprofit organizations connect to the larger community. <\/span><\/p>\n

Supporters of the arts and non-profit causes in Mississippi can donate now until midnight on October 24th by visitingwww.msdayofgiving.org and electing to make a donation to Oxford Film Festival. <\/span><\/p>\n

A special perk provided by the festival will be a VIP pass to the 13th annual festival held February 17-21, 2016 when you give $50. After October 24, the pass goes back to the normal rate of $100. You save $50 and help a good cause!\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Oxford Film Festival is participating in the Day of Giving before the Ole Miss vs Texas A&M game on October 24th.<\/span><\/p>\n

The start time for the game has been confirmed and we are looking for volunteers for the following:<\/span><\/p>\n

#1 Online support<\/span> –<\/span>
\nMake posts starting now and 3 times for sure on the day of giving on all social media outlets and send emails to friends. (For example April is helping raise $500) – 3 hours of volunteer time (or more if you do more and let us know)<\/span><\/p>\n

#2 Give stickers out on the Square on October 24<\/span>
\n11 am to 2 pm<\/span>
\nMeet at the Powerhouse to get stickers and park and then each hand out at different locations<\/span><\/p>\n

#3 Give stickers out at the Game on October 24<\/span>
\n2 pm – 5 pm<\/span>
\nMeet at the tent (to the left of the confederate soldier statue in circle) – tent with banner that says MS day of giving<\/span>
\nHand out stickers at various locations<\/span>
\nIf you do this, you can park for free at the Powerhouse during the game. We need your name in advance to allow this so you don’t get towed.<\/span><\/p>\n

Let me know by Wednesday, October 14th if you would like to volunteer for any of these positions.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
