Where are you from, and how long have you lived in Oxford?<\/strong> Vicksburg, been here one year.<\/p>\n

\"\"In your experience, what is the most common reason to have a drink?<\/strong> Celebration, bad day, pretty much anything.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s your favorite drink?<\/strong> Screwdriver made with Cathead vodka\u2014we love Cathead around here.<\/p>\n

Where\u2019s your favorite spot to sip in Oxford?<\/strong> Two Stick. I know that sounds silly but if you\u2019re there every day you pretty much have no other options.<\/p>\n

What are your specialties?<\/strong> Car Bombs, Lemon Drops, and all of Two Stick\u2019s specialty drinks. So stop by and let me show off my skills\u2014I\u2019m young but I\u2019ve got \u2018em!<\/p>\n

Early alcohol experience:<\/strong> The drive-thru daiquiri bar at the Daiquiri World, every weekend. Speaking of Daiquiris: come by Two Stick this weekend. I\u2019ve learned how to make traditional homemade daiquiris and will be serving them up Thursday and Friday. Peach, Strawberry and Plum with a raw sugar rim served straight-up, yum yum! And for you old-schoolers, I even know how to make a Hemingway, so named because daiquiris were among his favorites.<\/p>\n

Most famous customers you\u2019ve served:<\/strong> John Sinclair (beat poet from the 60s), Joey Lauren Adams, and Eli Manning and family.<\/p>\n

Who would you most like to have a drink with?<\/strong> Shea, if and when I can coordinate having a night off and having a babysitter at the same time, I will! (I\u2019m a mother of a very energetic two-year-old!)<\/p>\n

What have you been listening to so far this year?<\/strong> Reggae and Jazz\u2014that\u2019s about all my boss lets me play. Don\u2019t get me wrong, it\u2019s ok by me.<\/p>\n

What band could your ears not live without?<\/strong> Widespread Panic!<\/p>\n

Have you bought anything awesome at The End Of All Music yet?<\/strong> Not yet, but whenever I get that day off I keep talking about, I\u2019m headed straight there. I\u2019ve heard it\u2019s AWESOME!<\/p>\n

Favorite sport & team:<\/strong> I like football, Ole Miss obviously, but UT also because my brother is the kicker\u2014I kind of have to out of default.<\/p>\n

What mascot would you have picked for Ole Miss?<\/strong> COLONEL REB!<\/p>\n

Whatcha been reading this summer?<\/strong> Bartending books. I\u2019m loving being a bartender and want to try to learn as much as possible. (I\u2019ve found out really quickly what kind of money a \u201cprofessional\u201d bartender can make, and I like!)<\/p>\n

What do you like best about living here?<\/strong> The small-town atmosphere.<\/p>\n

What would you like to see change in Oxford?<\/strong> Not being pulled over everywhere I go!\u00a0Also, definitely parking for the Square-this limited parking crap is for sure hurting the Square\u2019s business, especially during the day.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s the funniest thing you\u2019ve seen in your bar lately?<\/strong> The cops being called by a customer who did not think they should have to\u00a0pay for their ticket after a mistake had been made (that was corrected, of course).\u00a0The police were very annoyed with this man. He also had been drinking our 2-for-1 drafts for a while, hence his unrealistic approach.<\/p>\n
