Ole Miss faces Maryland, Bakersfield, and UCLA in NCAA Tournament Regionals.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"TourneySchedule_sized\"<\/a>University, Miss. (TLV) \u2013 Mike Bianco<\/strong> and the Ole Miss Rebels<\/strong> are NCAA Baseball Tournament Bound for the 20th time in program history. The Diamond Rebs earned an at-large berth in the Los Angeles Regional, hosted by No. 1 overall seed UCLA. Ole Miss will take on Maryland Friday at 6 pm CT and will be broadcast by the Ole Miss Radio Network and ESPN3.<\/span><\/p>\n

This year marks the 13th time Ole Miss has made the NCAA Tournament during the 15 years of Bianco. They finished the regular season with a 30\u201326 record and had the nation\u2019s No. 1 strength of schedule including a 5\u20134 record against teams ranked No. 1.<\/span><\/p>\n

The way Ole Miss got into the tournament was impressive. Facing the possibility of being eliminated, they won six of their last eight games including a sweep of Mississippi State<\/strong> in dramatic fashion. All the Rebels did was score five runs with two outs in the bottom of the ninth to tie the game at 7\u20137 before eventually wining in the 10th with a walk-off single to complete the trifecta sweep of the Bulldogs <\/strong>in Major Men\u2019s Sports for the first time since 1972.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cPostseason is always the most exciting time of the season,\u201d Bianco said. \u201cWe are excited for our guys to start the Road to Omaha.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The Rebels are the No. 2 seed in the L.A. Regional and will face the No. 3 seed Maryland Terrapins<\/strong>. UCLA, the No. 1 seed will face No. 4 seed CSU Bakersfield<\/strong> in the double elimination tournament. The winner of the regional advances to the Super Regional.<\/span><\/p>\n
