(JACKSON, Miss.) \u2013 On Saturday May 16th, Tedeschi Trucks Band<\/strong> is performing live with Steve Earle & The Dukes<\/strong> and Anders Osborne<\/strong> at Livingston LIVE<\/strong> (HWY 463 at HWY 22). This kicks off a summer concert series presented by Livingston Community Foundation<\/strong> and Baptist Health Clinic<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tedeschi Trucks Band is an 11\u2010member collective that thrills audiences worldwide with its transcendent live performances and award\u2010winning albums. Formed in 2010 by husband\u2010and\u2010wife Derek Trucks<\/strong> and Susan Tedeschi<\/strong>, and featuring two harmony singers, a three\u2010piece horn section, keyboards, bass, and a pair of drummers. Tedeschi Trucks Band disproves the \u201cless is more\u201d while building a devoted following of fans and critics alike.<\/span><\/p>\n

Just three years in, Tedeschi Trucks Band has toured extensively throughout the United States, Canada, Australia, Europe, and Japan. TTB\u2019s debut release Revelator, <\/em>earned both a\u00a0<\/span>Grammy and Blues Music Award while 2011\u2019s dynamic live follow\u2010up, Everybody\u2019s Talkin\u2019, <\/em>delivered a double\u2010disc classic reminiscent of legendary concert recordings like Mad Dogs and Englishmen <\/em>and The Allman Brothers Band<\/strong>\u2019s At Fillmore East<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Currently the band is touring in support of its second studio effort, Made Up Mind<\/em>, which entered the Billboard 200 at #11. Emerging as one of the most respected guitarists of his generation, Trucks led his own Derek Trucks Band<\/strong> for over 15 years prior to teaming with Tedeschi. Presently and for the past 13 years the Florida native also performs as a full member of The Allman Brothers Band. No stranger to center stage herself, singer\u2010guitarist Susan Tedeschi started playing in bands in her hometown of Boston at age 13. Her knack for combining American roots music, blues, Southern soul, and gospel with passionate, awe\u2010inspiring vocal prowess has resulted in a prolific solo career full of award\u2010winning records, six Grammy nominations, and a devoted following.<\/span><\/p>\n
