Since forming in 2009, New Jersey\u2019s The Everymen<\/strong> have quickly built a rock solid resume\u00a0thanks to their tireless average of over 100 shows a year, and a reputation as one of the\u00a0hardest working and most exciting live bands around.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Everymen\"<\/a>Standing nine members strong, The Everymen are reminiscent of The E Street Band<\/strong>\u00a0in stature, Rocket From The Crypt<\/strong> in searing energy, Meat Loaf<\/strong> in production and The Replacements<\/strong> in boozy, backroom party vibes.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a follow-up to their first full length release\u00a0New Jersey Hardcore<\/em>, the band released their second full length album and sixth release overall titled\u00a0Givin\u2019 Up On Free Jazz\u00a0<\/em>in May 2014 via the Ernest Jenning Record Co.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

However, where\u00a0New Jersey Hardcore\u00a0<\/em>was the work of one man flanked by occasional co-conspirators,\u00a0Free Jazz\u00a0<\/em>is the fully formed execution of a band just hitting its stride.<\/span><\/p>\n

From modern takes on girl group send ups (\u201cFingers Crossed\u201d) to soaring, Springsteen-esque walls of sound (\u201cA Girl Named Lou Pt. 2\u201d), full throttle odes to eternal love (\u201cSpain\u201d) and hushed, piano bar intimacy (\u201cIzzy\u201d), and four on the floor, windows down stompers (\u201cAnother Thing To Lose\u201d)\u00a0Givin\u2019 Up On Free Jazz\u00a0<\/em>is an album as varied as it is focused all while sounding singularly Everymen.<\/span><\/p>\n
