\u201cIf you don’t love what you do, then why are you doing it?\u201d Ole Miss Guard Stefan Moody asked. \u201cI love what I do, and will take every minute of it.\u201d Photograph by Newt Rayburn<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Stefan Moody<\/strong> is carrying the Ole Miss Rebels<\/strong> to victory. Over the last five games Moody has averaged 20 points a game and is shooting 52 percent from the three point line. He is in a zone and unless somebody takes him out of it, good luck beating Ole Miss.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Ole Miss Coach Andy Kennedy<\/strong> has a theory on why Moody makes so many threes.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI think he likes the attention,\u201d Kennedy said. \u201cHe knows if he makes more, he will get more attention, so were offering him making some more.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

For the second time in a row, Ole Miss has been down in the second half and both times, Moody has gone on a run to dig them out of the hole.<\/span><\/p>\n

Stefan Moody is not only leading Ole Miss on the offensive end, but he anchored Andy Kennedy\u2019s defense, too, registering six steals. Moody has the want and need to not only be a good scorer, but also a good defender. \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIf you don’t love what you do, then why are you doing it?\u201d Moody asked. \u201cI love what I do, and will take every minute of it.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Moody\u2019s greatest asset though is his knowing when to pass the ball. On an inbound pass with 35 seconds in the game, he was trapped by the Tennessee defense. Instead of trying to force his way through like so many stars do, he passed the ball off to Jarvis Summers<\/strong> who got fouled and made it a two point game.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThey were trying to foul and I didn\u2019t want to get a backcourt,\u201d said Moody. \u201cI had an open teammate, so only right to make a pass.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Summers, who had been struggling lately, returned to form tonight. Scoring thirteen points and registering eight assists. The senior point guard had a great start in SEC play, averaging 17 points in his the first seven SEC games of the year, but since then he has only averaged 6.6 points.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe gave him a round of applause,\u201d said Coach Kennedy. \u201cHe is now off the milk carton; he is back.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Ole Miss continues their SEC campaign against the Georgia Bulldogs<\/strong> on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 <\/strong>in the Tad Pad<\/strong>. Georgia are a 17-9 on the season, and Ole Miss will have to rebound well because the Bulldogs are averaging 37.5 rebounds a game, good for top 50 in the country.<\/span><\/p>\n

The game is at 8:00 pm and will be televised on the SEC network.\u00a0\"The<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n
