Oxford, Mississippi<\/strong>\u00a0Songwriter and Guitarist Tyler Keith<\/strong> has released his own version of National Public Radio<\/strong>‘s Tiny Desk Concert.<\/a><\/em>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

NPR’s hit internet show has featured such performers as\u00a0Trey Anastasio<\/a>,\u00a0Lucinda Williams<\/a>, and Cat Stevens<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Ole Miss<\/strong>\u00a0rocker, who’s infamous in the Mid-South for his bands The Neckbones<\/strong><\/a>, The Preacher’s Kids<\/strong>, and The Apostles<\/strong>, has put his own unique spin on the concept, calling it the “Tiny Abandoned Desk Concert.”<\/span><\/p>\n

The 18-minute long film was shot in the backwoods of Lafayette County<\/strong>, Mississippi by photographer Mike Stanton<\/strong> at an abandoned shack with plenty of junk around it. <\/span><\/p>\n

Keith flips over an old wooden desk at the beginning of the film and proceeds to play on top of it, performing five of his hit tunes, including “Kid Twist,” “Do It For Johnny,” “Crooked Road,” and “Don’t Look On My Darkside.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Dogs barking and cars passing nearby are the icing on the cake for this Mississippi rocknroll gem of a film.\u00a0\"The<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n
