Any Decision on School Closings Made Tuesday, February 17 at 8 am !<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Oxford, Mississippi\u2014Oxford School District officials announce a two-hour delayed school start time for students on Tuesday, February 17 because of uncertain road conditions caused by black ice (a thin coating of glazed ice on the road), fallen trees and downed power lines. All prekindergarten classes are cancelled for Tuesday, February 17. Any decision regarding school closings will be made by Tuesday, February 17 at 8 am by school district officials. <\/span>
\nStudents will start two hours later than their regularly scheduled school start time with delayed school start times and school dismissal times as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Bramlett Elementary School<\/strong><\/span>
\nDelayed Start: 9:40 a.m. (All prekindergarten classes are cancelled.)<\/span>
\nDismissal: 2:35 p.m.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Oxford Elementary School<\/strong><\/span>
\nDelayed Start: 9:40 a.m.<\/span>
\nDismissal: 2:35 p.m.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Della Davidson Elementary School<\/strong><\/span>
\nDelayed Start: 9:40 a.m.<\/span>
\nDismissal: 2:35 p.m.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Oxford Intermediate School<\/strong><\/span>
\nDelayed Start: 9:35 a.m.<\/span>
\nDismissal: 2:40 p.m.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Oxford Middle School<\/strong><\/span>
\nDelayed Start: 10:20 a.m.<\/span>
\nDismissal: 3:40 p.m.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Oxford High School<\/strong><\/span>
\nDelayed Start: 10:20 a.m.<\/span>
\nDismissal: 3:40 p.m.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Scott Center<\/strong><\/span>
\nDelayed Start: 9:30 a.m.<\/span>
\nDismissal: 2:30 p.m.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Oxford Learning Center<\/strong><\/span>
\nDelayed Start: 10:25 a.m.<\/span>
\nDismissal: 3:40 p.m.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"SnowHa\"<\/a>Students riding school buses in the morning to school will be picked up two hours later than their normal bus pick-up time.<\/span><\/p>\n

Oxford School District employees are encouraged to report to work when road conditions are considered safe to do so. <\/span><\/p>\n
