City Grocery<\/strong> Group <\/strong>Pastry Chef Dwayne Ingraham<\/strong>\u00a0of Oxford, Mississippi<\/strong> has won the February 8, 2015<\/strong>\u00a0episode Food Network<\/strong>\u2019s television show, Cutthroat Kitchen<\/strong>. <\/span><\/p>\n

Chef Dwayne was featured in issue number 221 of The Local Voice<\/em><\/strong>, both on the cover<\/a>, and in an article <\/a>by TLV<\/em> Editor Nature Humphries<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Last night, Chef Dwayne not only competed against some other\u00a0pastry chefs on the Food Network, but his television show episode also competed against the The Grammys<\/strong>.\u00a0\"IMG_4136-692\"<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

Ingraham competed formidably \u2013 and won \u2013 against some stiff competition on this episode of Cutthroat Kitchen.<\/span><\/p>\n

That\u2019s no easy task, as Food Network superstar host Alton Brown<\/strong> was there, ready to throw his monkey wrench into every round. <\/span><\/p>\n

Brown entered the competition with $100,000 cash<\/strong> and gave equal parts to the four competitors to use against each other in bidding rounds.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cChocolate<\/strong>\u201d was the theme of this Food Network episode, and Alton Brown made sure it was not easy \u00a0to coast to victory. <\/span><\/p>\n

Competitors had to bid against obstacles, including mixing a lava cake in a champagne glass, or mixing in cellophane wrapping, or cutting food with the wrapping from a chocolate bar.<\/span><\/p>\n

With $25,000 cash, Chef Dwayne bid his way to culinary victory, by outwitting three other pastry chefs. At one point, he was forced to pare Halibut fish with chocolate\u2026 but he made it work.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As of the publishing of this blog, the Food Network doesn\u2019t have information on their website available about any of the other Chefs who competed on Sunday\u2019s episode.<\/span><\/p>\n

Chef Dwayne Ingraham outwitted three opponents through three different rounds on Sunday, February 8, 2015<\/em>, and he emerged victorious at the end of the night.<\/span><\/p>\n
