Saturday night after the Rebels<\/strong> beat down the Volunteers<\/strong>, Oxford’s Favorite New Band<\/strong> (Townies Award 2014), The Whiskey Barrels<\/strong>, dominated\u00a0Proud Larry’s<\/strong> stage. <\/span><\/p>\n

The crowd was happy and was really getting into the music. They played a variety of rock n roll covers, and one of my favorite moments has to be when they busted out a very metal version of “Gangster’s Paradise.”\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
