Benefits the American Cancer Society and includes admission to Mississippi Museum of Natural Science<\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Due to forecasted rain and concerns for participant safety, the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science has postponed the \u201cHoot 4 Hope\u201d Kids\u2019 Walk, originally scheduled for Saturday, October 3, 2026.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A new date has not yet been determined. Museum staff are working to identify a rescheduled date and will announce updated details as soon as they become available. Individuals who have already registered will be contacted directly regarding future event plans.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hoot 4 Hope benefits the American Cancer Society and is designed to encourage children and families to come together in support of cancer programs that help individuals and families facing cancer.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Museum appreciates the public\u2019s understanding and looks forward to welcoming participants on a future date.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Families, friends, and community members are invited to lace up their walking shoes and join the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science<\/strong> for Hoot 4 Hope<\/strong> on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 7-9a.m. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This special family-friendly one-mile walk will benefit the American Cancer Society<\/strong> while celebrating hope, community, and the power of coming together for a meaningful cause. Children, grandparents, and everyone in between are welcome. All walk participants will also receive Museum admission. Cost is $15 per individual or $50 per team or family of four.
