This annual event celebrates the outstanding work of local nonprofit organizations while connecting community members with innovative initiatives that improve the quality of life throughout <strong>Oxford<\/strong> and <strong>Lafayette County<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">EAOXINC will showcase its expanding portfolio of programs designed to empower individuals and families through advocacy, education, neurodiversity awareness, life transitions, workforce development, emergency assistance, and community engagement. The organization&#8217;s featured initiatives include Setting Up Success: Life Transitions, Re-entry &amp; Workforce Success, and the Neighbor2Neighbor Emergency Assistance &amp; Family Stability Program. Every day, we see the impact the proper supports can have on someone&#8217;s life. Whether we&#8217;re helping a student successfully navigate social and educational settings, providing emergency assistance to individuals and families in crisis, supporting a returning citizen as they rebuild their life, or removing barriers while connecting individuals with advocacy and community resources which already exist, our goal is the same-to empower lives and strengthen our community.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThis event provides an invaluable opportunity to showcase our organization and its impact on our community. Being part of this event shines a light on our mission we are excited to connect with the community and gain the support necessary to make an even more meaningful impact. So, please, come out to the <strong>Powerhouse<\/strong> and join us on August 11, 2026 to support this important and worthy cause!\u201d added Dr. Ward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The 11th Annual Night for Nonprofits will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at the Powerhouse Community Arts Center in Oxford. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Tickets are $20 and may be purchased online through Oxford Arts \u2013 Night for Nonprofits Tickets or at the door on the evening of the event. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Community members are encouraged to attend, learn about local nonprofits, and support the organizations that are strengthening Oxford and Lafayette County. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the event, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about dozens of nonprofit organizations making a difference throughout Lafayette County. Guests will also vote live for the recipient of the $2,500 Crowd Favorite Award, recognizing the nonprofit project that resonates most with the community. Organizations that bring at least 50 percent of their board members will also be eligible for the $500 Board Member Engagement Award, while LOFT will distribute $50,000 in grant funding to participating nonprofits throughout the evening. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">LOFT\u2019s Executive Director, <strong>Dr. Jody Holland<\/strong>, shared, \u201cEleven years in, this night has become a real fixture on the Oxford calendar. Attendees hear about the various programs and projects the nonprofit organizations are doing within the Oxford and Lafayette community, and then attendees cast a vote for the nonprofit they most want to see win a Crowd Favorite Award.
