{"id":159585,"date":"2026-06-04T18:26:51","date_gmt":"2026-06-04T23:26:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thelocalvoice.net\/oxford\/?p=159585"},"modified":"2026-06-04T18:26:55","modified_gmt":"2026-06-04T23:26:55","slug":"oxford-mississippi-woman-arrested-for-dui-4th-on-county-road-101","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thelocalvoice.net\/oxford\/oxford-mississippi-woman-arrested-for-dui-4th-on-county-road-101\/","title":{"rendered":"Oxford, Mississippi Woman Arrested for DUI 4th on County Road 101"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On May 29, 2026, Deputies with the <strong>Lafayette County Sheriff&#8217;s Office<\/strong> were conducting a driver&#8217;s license safety checkpoint on <strong>County Road 101<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Deputies came into contact with the driver of a Black Nissan Pathfinder later identified as <strong>Tish Sisk<\/strong> (Black Female, 43 years old) of <strong>Oxford, Mississippi<\/strong>. Sisk exhibited obvious signs of intoxication. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After conducting a DUI investigation, Deputies placed Sisk under arrest, where she actively resisted. After Sisk was taken into custody, she was transported to the <strong>Lafayette County Detention Center<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A criminal history check of Sisk revealed that Sisk had several past DUI arrests in Mississippi. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sisk was charged with Disorderly Conduct, Resisting Arrest, and DUI 4th or Greater.
