Mississippi Delta-born sister country music duo American Blonde<\/strong> will return to Grammy Museum\u00ae Mississippi<\/strong> for an intimate conversation and performance in the Sanders Soundstage on Wednesday, June 25, at 7 p.m. The event will feature a special moderated conversation followed by a live performance in the Museum\u2019s Sanders Soundstage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier that day, American Blonde will also serve as special guests for Grammy Museum Mississippi\u2019s summer camp participants, offering campers a unique opportunity to learn from and engage with the rising country music duo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spotlight: American Blonde will take place on Wednesday, June 25, at 7 p.m. in the Museum\u2019s Sanders Soundstage. A reception featuring hors d\u2019oeuvres and a cash bar will begin at 6 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About AMERICAN BLONDE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Raised in the Mississippi Delta, the birthplace of American music, sisters Natalia (Nata) and Christina (Tinka) Morris were raised hearing the stylings of artists in country, rock, Americana, and blues. Previously performing with their sister Hanna in their teens under the name Southern Halo, their upbringing laid the groundwork for American Blonde\u2019s sound\u2014a generous blend of country-pop with an edge and, at times, a hint of blues. Nata and Tinka didn\u2019t grow up playing in church like most young artists\u2014they played at local bars and rowdy festivals. It was their involvement in their area Texaco Country Showdown, where they made it to the finals and performed at The Ryman, that shifted them from a multi-genre girl group to one rooted in the Nashville sound and, ultimately, encouraged their path forward as artists. They continued full steam ahead, performing throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe, opening for artists like Maren Morris, Kane Brown, Parmalee, Easton Corbin, Thompson Square, and even B.B.
