Offering free admission for active duty military & families now through Labor Day<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Now in its 12th year as a participating partner, Delta Blues Museum is again a member of the Blue Star Museum program,<\/strong> benefitting active duty military and their families. From Armed Forces Day on May 16th through Labor Day, the Museum will offer free admission to those currently serving and up to five members of their family.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Museum Director Shelley Ritter<\/strong> looks forward to welcoming Blue Star military families once again this summer.\u00a0“Our Blue Star partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts <\/strong>continues to be an important part of our summer programming, as a way for us to honor those who serve our country,”\u00a0<\/em>Ritter states, adding, “<\/em>Museum reservations can be made<\/em><\/strong> online<\/a>, and walk-ups are always welcome.<\/em><\/strong>“<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

About Blue Star Museums<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Blue Star Museums is a collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families<\/strong>, the Department of Defense<\/strong>, and participating museums across America. For a list of participating museums, visit\u00a0arts.gov\/bluestarmuseums<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The free admission program is available for those currently serving in the United States Military\u2014Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard as well as members of the Reserves, National Guard, U.S. Public Health Commissioned Corps, NOAA Commissioned Corps, and up to five family members. Qualified members must show a Geneva Convention common access card (CAC), DD Form 1173 ID card (dependent ID), or a DD Form 1173-1 ID card for entrance into a participating Blue Star Museum.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
