Here are two pictures of the same place on campus, the South side of The Circle<\/strong>. On the right in both pictures, is the South Dorm<\/strong>, built in 1848. On the left, is the South Professors Residence<\/strong>, also built in 1848. They are all original buildings at the University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lower picture has about one third of the 1860-1861 student body present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Don’t miss the boys hanging out of the dorm windows. Human nature does NOT change, from 1861 to today!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There were also one of each building on the North side of The Circle, on the other side of The Lyceum<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
