Competitive award program offers students funding for projects<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Stamps Impact Prize<\/strong> committee selected eight University of Mississippi<\/strong> students for its biannual competitive award program that funds undergraduate academic and creative projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Since our launch in 2023, we have funded 57 student projects across a wide range of fields of study,” said Kenneth Sufka<\/strong>, distinguished professor of psychology and pharmacology and research professor in the Research Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences<\/strong>. Sufka leads the\u00a0Stamps Impact Prize<\/a>\u00a0program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Our current cohort is another example of incredibly interesting creative achievement, community service and research projects from exceptionally talented Ole Miss students.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The university\u00a0created the competitive award<\/a>\u00a0to enhance undergraduate students’ academic experience by supporting innovative, faculty-supported projects that go beyond the classroom. Undergraduate students across all Ole Miss<\/strong> campuses are eligible to receive up to $5,000 to support their work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
