A community favorite since 1999 and one that embraces the spirit of \u201cThe Show Must Go On\u201d despite all the recent bad weather, Theatre Oxford\u2019s 2026 10-Minute Play Festival<\/strong> graces the stage of the Powerhouse<\/strong> February 20 and 21<\/strong> with more than a half-dozen competition-winning plays.<\/p>\n\n

Tales of brainy automobiles, ghosts, an aunt with \u201cthe sight,\u201d bartenders with a special touch, and many more promise a great evening.<\/p>\n\n

Among the plays to be presented are Oxford High School<\/strong> graduate Kate Leslie<\/strong>\u2019s A Midsummer\u2019s Nightcap<\/em><\/strong>, a play commissioned by Theatre Oxford, and the first, second, and third place winners from Theatre Oxford\u2019s international 10-Minute Play Competition: Connor King and Hannah Allen<\/strong>\u2019s Over My Dead Body<\/em><\/strong>, Carry Pepper<\/strong>\u2019s Making Note<\/em><\/strong>s, and Katharine Rex\u2019<\/strong>s Books in the Attic<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

The 10-Minute Play Festival begins at 7:30 pm, Friday, February 20, and continues Saturday, February 21, at 2 pm and 7:30 pm. The shows are rated \u201cparental guidance.”\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n

Tickets for the performances will be $12 for Theatre Oxford members, $15 for students and seniors, and $20 for non-members.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n
