On December 22, 2025, deputies received a complaint from a female who advised that she had been receiving threats of bodily harm through text messages from an unknown female. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Investigators began an investigation into the incident and determined the source of the text message as Miami Stroup<\/strong> (white female 23 years old of Oxford, Mississippi<\/strong>). A warrant was issued for her arrest on January 14th 2026, for Cyberstalking. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stroup turned herself in without incident to the Lafayette County Detention Center<\/strong> on January 15th. Stroup appeared before a Lafayette County Justice Court<\/strong> judge, where she was issued a $2,500.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
