Mississippi’s first music museum nominated for “Best Music Museum,” voting open through February 9th<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Delta Blues Museum<\/strong> is among 20 other arts & cultural organizations vying for the top spot as “Best Music Museum” in\u00a0USA Today<\/em>‘s annual “10BEST” Readers’ Choice Poll.\u00a0The publication announced its selected nominees on Monday, with the voting portal open now through noon EST on Monday, February 9th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the nomination,\u00a0USA Today<\/em>\u00a0is highlighting the work of the Museum:\u00a0“Celebrating the birthplace of the blues and the musicians who shaped its distinctive sound, this museum–which is\u00a0housed in a historic freight depot–features immersive storytelling that illuminates Clarksdale\u2019s pivotal role in American music history. Visitors can view iconic instruments, personal artifacts, and engaging displays featuring the lives and legacies of artists such as Muddy Waters, B.B. King, and many other blues greats.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Voting is open to the public for four weeks. Readers and supporters of the Museum are encouraged to cast their votes–one per person, one vote per day–at the link below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Winners will be announced on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at noon EST.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
