CLARKSDALE, MISSISSIPPI\u00a0\u2014 For the 16th year in a row, the Clarksdale Film & Music Festival<\/a> <\/strong>aims to make you laugh, cry,\u00a0and occasionally rock out.

All movies screen on Friday and Saturday at a special pop-up theater inside Stone Pony’s Tack Room<\/strong> (226 Delta Ave.). Sunday afternoon’s mini fest of music is at Bluesberry Cafe<\/strong> (235 Yazoo Ave.).

“Our attendees, filmmakers and musicians all have a fabulous time,” said co-organizer Nan Hughes<\/strong>. “Plus, tickets are the same low $5 per day or $10 for a weekend pass that they’ve always been. No inflation here, thanks to our generous sponsors and donors.”
