This is the fifth time the Bulldogs have appeared in the College Football Playoff, with their last National Championship coming in 2022. Rebel fans will remember the last matchup against the Bulldogs, the only loss for the Rebels this season. The two programs last met in October, a game in which the Rebels led in the fourth quarter. There is no doubt the two programs are very familiar with each other and will look to light up the scoreboard once again in this matchup.

Three Players to Watch: Ole Miss

<dfn>Trinidad Chambliss</dfn> – Chambliss continues to be a special story for the Ole Miss offense. The former Ferris State quarterback has compiled a QBR of 86.6, ranking fifth in all of the FBS. Last time out on the field he passed for 286 yards through the air while tallying two touchdowns on the ground

Kewan Lacy – Rebel fans have become very familiar with Lacy’s face this season. The sophomore running back is second in the FBS with 21 touchdowns on the season, while also rushing for 1,366 yards. In the last matchup with Georgia, Lacy found the end zone twice.

Suntariane Perkins – Perkins shined in the first matchup between the two programs this season, tallying a season-high 10 total tackles. Look for the junior linebacker to have a nose for the football against the Bulldogs once again.

Three Players to Watch: Georgia

Gunnar Stockton – The junior dual-threat quarterback can do it all. In the first matchup earlier this season, Stockton threw for 289 yards through the air on top of four touchdowns.

Nate Frazier – The sophomore running back is capable of a big run any time his hands touch the football, averaging over five yards per carry. Frazier exploded in the Bulldogs matchup in early November versus Mississippi State, rushing for 181 yards on just 12 carries.

CJ Allen – The junior linebacker leads the Bulldogs defense with 85 tackles on the season. In the previous matchup against the Rebels, Allen totaled 10 total tackles, 8 of which were solo.

No. 6 seed Ole Miss (12-1, 7-1 SEC) continues their quest for a national championship on Thursday as

"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paywalled_content":false,"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false

16,17687
7521,2431,33424,2706,2883,2314,33422,33289,5,33423,7067,2013,4,28399,700,7425,33421,33198,655
post-154530","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-local-athletics","category-university-of-mississippi","tag-allstate-sugar-bowl","tag-bulldogs","tag-cj-allen","tag-college-football-playoff","tag-georgia","tag-georgia-bulldogs","tag-gunnar-stockton","tag-kewan-lacy","tag-mississippi","tag-nate-frazier","tag-ole-miss","tag-ole-miss-rebels","tag-oxford","tag-pete-golding","tag-rebels","tag-sugar-bowl","tag-suntariane-perkins","tag-trinidad-chambliss","tag-university-of-mississippi
https://i0.wp.com/www.thelocalvoice.net/oxford/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/2025-OleMissvsGeorgia.jpg?fit=1920%2C1080&ssl=1
["GET
