Ole Miss<\/strong> football welcomed 19 new high school prospects during the\u00a0early signing period, giving the Rebels a top-25 class, per 247Sports and Rivals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ole Miss ranks No. 22 in the 247Sports class rankings for 2026, and not far off in either the Rivals (No. 24) and ESPN (No. 26) rankings as well, as of Dec. 5. All told, Ole Miss currently has seven four-star prospects in its 2026 signing class \u2013 including three unanimous ones in defensive end Landon Barnes<\/a><\/dfn> (Baton Rouge, La.), running back Damarius Yates<\/a><\/dfn> (DeKalb, Miss.) and Jase Mathews<\/a><\/dfn> (Leakesville, Miss.), who ESPN ranks as a five-star and the No. 20 player in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Rebels added six players ranked within the ESPN300, four on the defensive side of the ball: Yates (No. 121), linebacker Ja’Michael Garrett<\/a><\/dfn> (No. 174; Baton Rouge, La.), cornerback Dorian Barney<\/a><\/dfn> (No. 175; Carrollton, Ga.), Barnes (No. 266) and safety Craig Tutt<\/a><\/dfn> (No. 286; Christiana, Tenn.).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
