On Thursday, November 6, 2025, an officer with the Oxford Police Department<\/strong> responded to a call about shoplifters at Walmart who were identified as Matthew Jamison Parker<\/strong>, 41, and Tia Nicole Clark<\/strong>, 35, both of Saltillo, Mississippi<\/strong>. Both recognized from a previous shoplifting incident on September 24, 2025.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Suspects left after being confronted, an officer was in the area and initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle, and the suspects fled from the scene and crashed due to heavy traffic in the area. A short foot pursuit ensued, and both suspects were apprehended and subsequently arrested. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Parker was charged with Felony Fleeing, Felony Shoplifting, Receiving Stolen Property, and Conspiracy to Commit a Crime. Clark was charged with Felony Shoplifting, Receiving Stolen Property, and Conspiracy to Commit a Crime. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both were taken before a Municipal Court judge for their initial bond hearing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
