On October 14, 2025, a detective for the Oxford Police Department<\/strong> was contacted by another agency regarding a possible human trafficking case that occurred in Oxford<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After further speaking to the adult victim, detectives were able to identify Alana McCammon<\/strong>, 22, of Water Valley<\/strong>, Mississippi<\/strong>, and Bailey Prince<\/strong>, 23, of Water Valley, MS, as the suspects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

McCammon and Prince were each charged with 1 count of Human Trafficking. McCammon’s bond will be revoked through Circuit Court<\/strong> due to her being out on a previous felony bond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This case is still an ongoing investigation and further information or charges could come at a later date. The Oxford Police Department would like to thank the Yalobusha County Sheriff\u2019s Office<\/strong> and Metro Narcotics<\/strong> for their assistance in this case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
