The machine was reported stolen by the victim, and was unable to be located in <strong>Lafayette County<\/strong> at that time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After a few months, Lafayette County Investigators received a tip about the machine\u2019s location. The machine was located in <strong>Marshall County<\/strong> and returned to the owner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After an investigation was conducted, Investigators obtained a warrant for Grand Larceny on <strong>John Leath Halley Jr. <\/strong>48 years old of <strong>Byhalia, Mississippi<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Halley was located in <strong>Harmontown<\/strong>, and was taken into custody on October 1, 2025. Halley was transported to the Lafayette County Detention Center. Halley appeared before a <strong>Lafayette County Court Judge<\/strong> on Thursday, October 2, 2025 and was issued a $5,000.00 bond. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Halley is currently being held at the <strong>Lafayette County Detention Center <\/strong>on a hold for the <strong>Mississippi Department of Corrections<\/strong> for a parole violation.
