On August 6, 2025, the Oxford Police Department<\/strong> received a call about a male who was actively violating a protection order. Officers located the suspect, Mitchell Wren<\/strong> (23 of Okolona, Mississippi<\/strong>) the parking garage off The Square<\/strong>. Wren then fled from officers in the vehicle. The pursuit was terminated for safety reasons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On August 7th, investigators with OPD had arrest warrants for Aggravated Stalking, Felony Fleeing, and Protection Order Violation issued. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wren was located in Monroe County<\/strong> and taken into custody by the Monroe County Sheriff\u2019s Department<\/strong>. He was transported back to Oxford <\/strong>and booked into the Lafayette County Detention Center<\/strong> on the aforementioned warrants. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

No bond has been set at this time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
