St. John took the oath of office in a ceremony at the MDWFP Headquarters building in <strong>Jackson, Mississippi<\/strong>, marking the beginning of his service in this position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>St. John is the founder and CEO of <strong>Deep South Precast<\/strong> and also founded <strong>New South Access &amp; Environmental Solutions<\/strong>, where he continues to serve as a consultant. A graduate of <strong>Mississippi State University<\/strong>, he established the <strong>St. John Family Endowed Professorship in Wildlife Management<\/strong> and serves on the MSU Wildlife, Fisheries, and Aquaculture Advisory Board. He was honored as the 2017 Alumni Fellow for the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An avid outdoorsman, St. John is active with the <strong>Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership<\/strong> and the <strong>Wild Turkey Federation<\/strong>. He also serves as Chairman and Trustee of the <strong>Mississippi Outdoor Stewardship Trust Fund<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are pleased to welcome Drew St. John to MDWFP and look forward to working with him to conserve and enhance Mississippi\u2019s natural resources,\u201d said MDWFP Executive Director, <strong>Lynn Posey<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MDWFP Commissioners are appointed by the Governor and confirmed by the Senate to serve five-year terms.
