{"id":150824,"date":"2025-07-11T17:00:00","date_gmt":"2025-07-11T22:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thelocalvoice.net\/oxford\/?p=150824"},"modified":"2025-07-30T17:44:26","modified_gmt":"2025-07-30T22:44:26","slug":"oxford-mississippi-man-charged-with-dui-3rd-after-traffic-stop-on-highway-6-near-f-d-buddy-east-parkway","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thelocalvoice.net\/oxford\/oxford-mississippi-man-charged-with-dui-3rd-after-traffic-stop-on-highway-6-near-f-d-buddy-east-parkway\/","title":{"rendered":"Oxford, Mississippi Man Charged with DUI 3rd After Traffic Stop on Highway 6 near F.D Buddy East Parkway"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>On 7\/10\/25, A deputy with the <strong>Lafayette County Sheriff&#8217;s Office<\/strong> was on patrol in the area of <strong>Highway 6<\/strong> near <strong>F.D Buddy East Parkway<\/strong> conducted a traffic stop on a Chevrolet Impala. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the course of the traffic stop, the Deputy determined the driver, <strong>Eddie Lewis Hillard Jr.<\/strong> (Black male, 48 years old of <strong>Oxford, Mississippi<\/strong>), was impaired. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hillard was transported to the Lafayette County Detention Center without incident and charged with DUI 3rd due to having two past DUI convictions in the state of Mississippi within the last five years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He later appeared in front of a <strong>Lafayette County Justice <\/strong>court judge, who set Hilliard\u2019s bond at $5000.
