Light refreshments and networking to follow. He graduated in 2007 from the<strong> University of Mississippi <\/strong>with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with an emphasis in sculpture.&nbsp; He works out of his studio located in <strong>Oxford<\/strong>, where he lives with his wife and four children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Examples of his work have been included in several international and national exhibitions, including but not limited to, the Poydras Corridor Sculpture Exhibition, New Orleans; The Walter Anderson Museum, Ocean Springs, Miss.; Scope Basel in Basel, Switzerland; Lima, Peru, several gallery and museum shows; and private collections. &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earl is a co-founder of the <strong>Yokna Sculpture Trail<\/strong>, a bi-annual rotating outdoor sculpture exhibition in Oxford, Mississippi.&nbsp; He is a recipient of the Mississippi Arts Commission 2019 Visual Arts Fellowship Grant, and a member of the <strong>International Sculpture Center<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eliot Parker<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Eliot Parker is the author of several books, most recently <strong><em>A Final Call<\/em><\/strong>, which was named a &#8220;Best Book to Discover&#8221; by <em>Kirkus <\/em>Magazine and a finalist for the Hawthorne Prize in Fiction. His short story collection <strong><em>Snapshots<\/em><\/strong> won the Feathered Quill and PenCraft Book Awards for Short Story Anthology. A recipient of the West Virginia Literary Merit Award, Eliot hosts the podcast program <strong>&#8220;Now, Appalachia,&#8221;<\/strong> on the <strong>Authors on the Air Global Radio Network<\/strong>.
