On April 1, 2025, Investigators with the Lafayette County Sheriff<\/strong>‘s Office began an investigation regarding stolen property from an individual. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the investigation, charges were filed on Bobby Griffin<\/strong>, 34 years old of Batesville, Mississippi<\/strong>, for Grand Larceny. A warrant was issued for his arrest. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Investigators attempted to serve the warrant several times, however could not locate Griffin. On June 11, 2025, Investigators received information regarding the whereabouts of Griffin. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Investigators and Warrant Deputies with the Lafayette County Sheriff\u2019s Office responded to an address on County Road 113<\/strong> and located Griffin. Griffin was taken into custody without incident. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the arrest, Investigators located firearms in the residence. Griffin is a prior convicted felon, and was subsequently charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Griffin appeared before a Justice Court Judge<\/strong> and was set a $20,000.00 bond. Griffin is being held at the Lafayette County Detention Center<\/strong> for a Mississippi Department of Corrections<\/strong> Hold due to him being on Probation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
