The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks<\/strong> (MDWFP<\/strong>) is proud to announce the generous donation\u2014administered by the Mississippi Wildlife, Fisheries, Parks, Marine Foundation<\/strong>\u2014 of a Marsh Master II <\/strong>amphibious track vehicle on behalf of Mr. Jim Kennedy <\/strong>and York Woods<\/strong>, Mr. Kennedy\u2019s private wildlife conservation property in Tallahatchie County<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This specialized machine is designed to operate in the most challenging wetland environments and will significantly enhance MDWFP\u2019s ability to access remote or flooded areas that are otherwise unreachable with standard equipment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe Marsh Master II will be a valuable tool for our wetland management efforts across the state,\u201d said Houston Havens<\/strong>, Waterfowl Program Director for MDWFP. \u201cThis donation directly supports our mission to conserve and manage Mississippi\u2019s natural resources through habitat work on public lands.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Marsh Master II and its various implements will be utilized on Wildlife Management Areas (WMAs) for wetland habitat improvement projects. These efforts will include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
